The Innovative University of Cooperative Education Model – a Benefit for Students and for Companies
With the integration of practical training and theoretical study phases within each week - the split week model - the International University of Cooperative Education (IBA) offers a new approach to study that is welcomed by students and companies alike. The dual curriculum simultaneously combines academic study with practical experience. Each week consists of 20 hours of study and 20 hours spent in the company. This enables the continuous and intensive integration of students in operational processes from the very outset, and achieves a close dovetailing of theory and practice.
Earn a Bachelor degree in 6 or 7 semesters
In the forthcoming summer semester 2012 the IBA is offering a 7-semester cooperative degree programme in all subjects, with greater foreign language immersion. The 7-semester programme commences in the summer semester only. Those wishing to earn the Bachelor degree within 6 semesters can still begin their studies in the winter semester.
